Before submitting your tax return, check that you have:

• Income records
• Bank statements where applicable
• IRP5/IT3(a) certificates where applicable
• Medical aid information where applicable
• Retirement annuity information where applicable
• Donations certificates where applicable
• Business income and expense records
• Supporting documents for allowable deductions
• Previous tax information
• Relevant SARS correspondence
